DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE
The department has been running UG General courses since its inception. Consequently, the department introduced major courses in 1995. The first faculty member of the department was Lt. Prof. Abdul Jabber, who also performed the additional duty as principal in charge of the college simultaneously. Mr. Ayub Uddin Ahmed and Dr. Jimli Bora had also served the department as lecturers in its pre-provincialized stage .
Objective:
The prime objective of the department is to impart quality education and create socio- political awareness among the learners through continuous process of learning and practice.
Vision:
To understand various political concepts and principles and thereby building a politically and socially responsible society.
